I wanted to show the Custom Artist Portfolio with makeup inside to give you an idea of size and scale. I chose common items that you may have in your collection to help you know if this product is right for you! I found each bag to be spacious and easy to use. (Each bag is nowhere near full to capacity - you can fit tons in here!)
Small Bag: This bag is ideal for pencils and long items. I have shown the small bag with a mascara, cream eyeshadow stick, and lash glue.
Medium Bag (2): This bag is a total workhorse. In one, I have shown the Naked Basics palette and an eyeshadow quad.
Large Bag: This bag is very spacious, which is ideal for thick products, like a round foundation bottle, skincare, or haircare.
Brush Page: The brush page has 7 small brush slots for eye and lip brushes and 2 large brush slots for face brushes. There is a generous flap that covers brush heads to ensure that the brushes are protected.
Pocket: The back of the brush page has a generous pocket, perfect for palettes or large items.
Here is the Laura Mercier Custom Artist Portfolio next to MacBook Pro for size and depth scale. While the Porfolio is large, it is ideal for someone who will back a lot of makeup and toiletries anyway and wants their items protected.
Pros:
- Lots of storage capacity
- Flexible configuration
- Stiff sides to make sure items are protected
- Nice feeling construction
- Brush page only has capacity for 2 face brushes
- Relatively high price
