Face Products
- Skin79 Diamond BB cream - this one actually went bad on me after I powered through about a quarter of it and gave up. The Diamond version is very accurately named and made me look reflective in a greasy way instead of glowy in a healthy way. Would not repurchase.
- Skin79 VIP Gold BB cream - one of my favorite BB creams of all time - natural medium coverage that looks invisible on the skin and lasts all day. This is my 2nd empty VIP Gold, I will definitely repurchase.
- Paula's Choice Barely There Sheer Matte Tint - this tinted sunscreen is a great option for wearing under makeup. I have a full review here if you want to see more, but I will repurchase.
- Essence All About Matt powder - awesome affordable translucent pressed powder. The packaging broke on me but the powder looks invisible on the skin. I didn't feel like using up the outer rim of powder because it is a pain to get even coverage with a brush, but I already repurchased so I felt comfortable saying goodbye to the last remnants.
- First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream - this is a mini size from a kit that I used up as a hand cream because it wasn't hydrating enough to use on my face. This is advertised as the ultimate choice for very dry skin, but I was disappointed by the lack of hydration. Would not repurchase.
- Pre de Provence 20% Shea Butter hand cream - I love shea butter, but this has a bizarre unpleasant herbal scent. Would not repurchase.
- Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Currant - one of my favorite lip glosses. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone because it is a little sticky, but the texture helps the longevity. Currant is the perfect brown toned mauve lip gloss to keep in your purse or at your desk. Would definitely repurchase.
- Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment - I really enjoyed this mini - the soft texture creates a hydrating barrier on the lips that lasts longer than most lip balms. The price tag is steep, but I might purchase the full size on the next VIB sale.
Eye Products
- Clinique Lash Doubling mascara - natural bristle triangle wand is great for length and definition with a little bit of volume. One of my favorite mascaras of all time, will repurchase someday.
- Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara - (mini) full natural bristle wand gives lots of volume and fullness but is prone to clumping. I happily used up the sample, but won't buy the full size because it is similar to L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black.
- Givenchy Noir Couture Volume mascara - (mini) quite possibly the worst mascara I have tried in all of 2015 - the wand has awful distribution of product and the spacing and shape of the wand give you 5 clumpy spider lashes. This mascara does not deliver on separation, length, or volume. Absolutely would not purchase and would not use a coupon code or points for another sample.
- Benefit They're Real mascara - (mini) has a plastic spiky brush that hurts my lashline. This mascara created volume and drama, but at the expense of clumps, overloaded product at the round end of the wand, and feeling like I am stabbing my eye. I would not repurchase or get another mini with points or coupon.
- NARS Pro Prime eyeshadow primer - worked really well, but not so perfectly I will use it exclusively. I'm working through other primers at the moment, but I might repurchase someday.
What products have you finished lately?
I haven't finished much lately, just a Paula's Choice pimple cream, but I'm getting towards the end of a few others. I love reading people's empties posts!
